Job Summary

SCOR SE has a strategic drive to promote and deliver a modern and integrated E-Processing solution to support the core end-to-end administrative processes across the SCOR Group. These strategic initiatives range from pre-bind data through to post-bind technical accounting, claims handling and financial settlement via straight-through processing (STP).

The focus of the E-Processing Management department is:

  • Delivering a stable and well-designed OMEGA 2 E-Processing Management business module including E-Accounting functionalities.
  • Participating in the E-Processing or E-Enablement initiatives across the full lifecycle of administration.
  • Supporting the Live E-Processing relationships with trading partners (Technology Providers, Brokers, Cedants and London Central Settlement Bureau / LPC).
  • Coordinating the E-Processing Follow-up (service management and performance reporting).
  • Leading E-Administration topics

 

Key duties and responsibilities

The E-Processing Specialist will report into the E-Processing Manager and play a key role in ensuring the operational effectiveness of the E-Processing Client Service Delivery and Solutions.This role will have the following areas of responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis for the E-Administration Strategic Projects and Change Initiatives:
    • Provide specialist support towards business analysis, business case development and act as the business partner for all key business / functional stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements and assist with operational support to improve business processes.
  • Ownership, coordination, support and assistance as required to support the E-Processing Management in change and release management (from incident management through to problem resolution) of Production and UAT support with an end-to-end focus on service delivery
    • Maintain risk mitigation controls to assist with defect management.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to support release management and business-as-usual operations.
  • Project Support and Assistance - E-Administration Strategic Projects and Change Initiatives:
    • Assisting the dedicated project manager or change lead with the development and delivery of the new E-Admin Strategic Project objectives and change initiatives.
  • Provide coordination, support and assistance as required on E-Administration Market Initiatives

    • Assisting the E-Processing Manager and SCOR key stakeholders (from worldwide Business Leads and Group IT) to participate in regional and global developments.
    • Assist with SCOR’s market engagement and leadership position with development of new global standards.

 

Required experience & competencies

Experience

  • 5+ years’ Industry Experience in Insurance or Reinsurance – especially Back Office Administration or
  • 5+ years’ Consulting Experience with focus in Financial Services especially insurance or Reinsurance sector
  • Strong interest in and demonstrable exposure to solution testing and end-to-end UAT cycles
  • Exposure to project management support work as well as  project management standard methodologies and concepts (especially with regards solution design, testing and issue resolution) and to business requirements gathering and drafting of functional specifications and conducting change management
