This actuarial position is suitable for interns (internship contract) or young graduates (temp contract). We are looking for more than one candidate. 


Job Summary

  • Our internship program is designed to provide students with work assignments and projects that are challenging, educational and promote personal and professional development.


Key duties and responsibilities

  • Enhance existing analytic and reporting tools as well as EA dashboards.
  • Support the data management process including but not limited to:
  • Data exploration and data transformation
  • Data cleansing
  • Data analytics
  • Assist in other reporting activities and ad hoc projects


Member of the following committees: e.g. Audit committee, Investment Committee etc.

Required experience & competencies



  • No prior actuarial work experience required.
  • Knowledge of insurance, actuarial, mathematics and statistical concepts is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, SQL)


Skills and Personal Competences:

  • Effective verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to comprehend actuarial concepts and other advanced statistical concepts.
  • Ability to think logically and perform accurate calculations in a timely manner.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking ability.
  • Excellent team player.


Required Education

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related field with a strong quantitative orientation.
  • Preference will be given to candidate who has just completed the second year of their actuarial science degree
