Job Summary


Our internship program is designed to provide students with work assignments and projects that are challenging, educational and promote personal and professional development.


Key duties and responsibilities


To assist the South East Asia (SEA) Pricing team in the areas such as:

  1. Conduct analyses that adhere to actuarial standards of practice: identify and select the appropriate data sources and methods, recognize considerations, develop and documentation of the recommendations.
  2. Assisting in the preparation and analysis of periodic studies.
  3. Develop knowledge of actuarial methodologies by assisting in the creation/revision of pricing models and tools for automation.
  4. Assist in conducting research for pricing and modelling.
  5. Other adhoc projects.


Required experience & competencies



  • No prior actuarial work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistical concepts.


Skills and Personal Competencies:

  • Effective verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to comprehend actuarial concepts and other advanced statistical concepts.
  • Ability to think logically and perform accurate calculations in a timely manner.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking ability.
  • Excellent team player and culturally flexible.


Required Education

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related field with a strong quantitative orientation.
  • Preference will be given to candidate who has just completed the second year of their actuarial science degree.
