- Department

SCOR Global Life’s Strategy and Development main responsibilities are:

  1. The elaboration, and constant improvement, of the division’s Strategic Plan
  2. The management of transversal strategic projects, on a global scope
  3. The analysis of growth opportunities, both organic and external (M&A)

The Strategy & Development team reports to the Deputy-CEO of SCOR Global Life and collaborates closely both with the other central functions (finance, risk… based in France and abroad) and the operational teams.


- Mission

Contribute to several strategic projects, including industry and competitive dynamics analysis, and prepare presentations for SCOR Global Life Senior Management.


- Responsibilities

A number of strategic initiatives are currently under evaluation. Most of these are growth projects, involving a large number of countries, lines of business, and teams within the Division.

The intern’s main mission will be to assist in the analysis and implementation of these initiatives.

You will also be involved in the Division’s strategic communication (particularly towards rating agencies and financial analysts).

You will be coached and trained based on the typical processes of a large consulting firm, and you will benefit from a very high-level exposure within the Group.


- Special knowledge and skills required:

you would like to make your internship as a strategy analyst in a demanding and challenging environment.

You are curious, autonomous and you take initiatives. You have good affinity with figures, including their analysis and presentation (Excel and Powerpoint).

You have excellent analysis capabilities and presentation skills. Moreover, you have good editorial capabilities in both English and French.

A first experience in a consulting firm, in a bank or in investment would be relevant – although not mandatory.


- Required Education

You are currently in a top-tier Business School, Ecole d’Ingénieur, or equivalent.

An excellent level in English is mandatory to work efficiently in a strongly international environment.
