Internship – Salesforce CRM Support

Beginning : ASAP – Lasting 6 months

The main missions of the SCOR Global Life Chief Operating Officer (COO) Division are:

  1. Planning and monitoring of the division's project portfolio
  2. Management of operational and/or organisational projects, on a worldwide basis
  3. Coordination and management of the division's overhead budget

The Life COO team reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer of SCOR Global Life, and works closely with both the division's other divisions (based in France and abroad) and the group's teams (IT, Group Project Office, Management Control, etc.).

Missions and responsibilities

The Life division launched a new version of Salesforce in April 2018. The system is now used for business acceptance as well as customer relationship management for users globally.

In this context, you will support the Salesforce operations team to maintain and enhance the tool. In particular, you will:

  • Help with user support and responding to questions or issues in a timely manner, via email or phone
  • Become an ‘expert’ of the Salesforce platform within three months.
  • Help clean up our Salesforce database, working closely with our Sales teams in local markets to ensure that the quality of information is high
  • Research best practises and drive adoption of the application by generating creative communications to encourage usage
  • Revise and/or develop materials to drive continuous improvements in the areas of training/change management.
  • You may also be involved in the management of various ad hoc projects.

You are currently in a business or engineering school, (M2 or Gap year student) and you wish to do an internship to learn more about the operational side of Salesforce (Business Acceptance and Customer Relationship Management). Curious and diligent, you know how to organise your working time, balancing the priorities of deadlines and quality.

You have a strong level of Excel, and good command of PowerPoint and Word. You are comfortable using new technology and learning new systems (e.g. internal social media, document storage, collaboration tools).

Autonomy, proactivity and communication skills will be your biggest assets. You should have an excellent level of English that will allow you to participate in meetings and write documents for a global audience. (French is not compulsory as the working language is English, but helpful in office socialising).

This role best suits someone who has a keen attention to detail and an interest in CRM – with dynamism and energy to spare! We are a small team and looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute. The ideal candidate is not afraid to ask for clarification on tasks, welcomes feedback and seeks to improve.
