- Key duties and responsibilities

Duties to fulfil this role include the following:

  • Performing pricing activities : mainly long term business
  • Study the projects / tenders submitted by the underwriters: pricing incl. risk assessment and process compliance, determine the reinsurance conditions, the levels of claims and profitability;
  • Assist underwriters in building solid arguments for ceding companies or for technical analyzes relating to pricing methods and risk management;
  • Reporting;
  • Peer review;
  • Develop local pricing models and benchmarks
  • Support business function on product development (pricing, risk & profitability)
  • Provide support to business activities (client visits, presentations, solutions, technical seminar, training, ...)
  • Analyzing the clients’ experience
  • Improve the actuarial assumptions for pricing purposes
  • Support projects for the development of data pools and client services based on experience analysis

 

- Required experience & competencies

Personal Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a big team and support high peak periods
  • Rigorous, flexible with strong sense of priorities

 

- Required education

  • University degree in Actuarial Science
  • 3-5 experience in insurance/reinsurance
