- Job Summary

Within Group Finance and under the responsibility of the Head of Group Finance Investments (GFI), you will be joining the investment accounting team composed currently of 4 people.


- Key duties and responsibilities

During closing process:

  • Control the booking of finance transactions and the correctness of accounting schemes
  • Perform monthly and quarterly investment closings within SimCorp Dimension tool
  • Ensure investment accounting compliance with IFRS standards (IAS 39, IFRS 7, IAS 32 and IFRS 9) and Group accounting policy
  • Investment accounting support for hubs and local entities (BFC controls, analysis, link with Back office & Middle Office)
  • Investment accounting support for Group Finance and Investments departments (FP&A, SIP, SAP CC, Consolidation, Solvency 2)
  • Perform reconciliation for mutual funds transactions (Liabilities vs subscription / repurchase, management fees, specific transactions, internal operation, cash reconciliation)
  • Assist the person in charge of the mutual funds IFRS packages
  • Perform controls on investment yields (amortization & accrued) and suggest changes in static data and transactions to Back Office team.

Outside closing periods:

  • Run and analyse second level controls on Dimension data filled by Middle Office / Data Management which impact accounting and inventory bookings.
  • Ensure accounting consistency through ad hoc controls in SimCorp Dimension (pre-close) / SAP AFO controls (post-accounting run)
  • Upgrade and validate agreement and payment bookings of day-to-day transactions
  • Ensure consistency between Middle Office process and Accounting process
  • Ensure correct implementation of changes and proposals from audit committee and update controls accordingly
  • Anticipate booking issues for new types of transaction and define accounting schemes for SIP new products. Develop accounting controls accordingly.
  • Participate in I9S project aiming to develop a new platform for investment accounting with the implementation of IFRS 9 and develop new accounting controls.
  • Participate in projects under the responsibility of GFI (restructuring, merger of portfolios, change in functional currency, acquisitions...)


- Required experience & competencies

Experience :

  • 5+ years in Accounting

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field
