Job Summary

 

Group Consolidation & Reporting is an active player in the production of the Group and Segmental financials of SCOR, the production of the Universal Registration Document and internal consolidated analysis provided to the COMEX. The department is also responsible of the Group Closing Calendar which details all closing activities from all stakeholders (Business Units, Legal Entities, Group functions).

 

The Business Support team (BS team) supports the Consolidation & Group Reporting team in the different projects and initiatives that will impact the recurring activities of the quarterly closings and reporting.

 

In a first place, the Business Support expert actively contributes to the transition of Consolidation team to IFRS 9 and IFRS 17. More broadly, he/she participates to the coordination, application and change management of future GCAO projects/initiatives.  

 

Proactive, rigorous and committed, the candidate should also demonstrate autonomy, agility and excellent communication skills. A robust capacity to understand closing and reporting processes is highly recommended.

 

Department

 

Consolidation department is part of Group Finance and is in charge of the production of the quarterly IFRS consolidated financial statements.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

 

  • Support Business as Usual (BaU) team in the coordination of closing activities during transition year
  • Prepare and monitor the target closing calendars in connection with Investors Relations and Group General Secretary
  • Participates to the update of GCAO processes and internal control framework (ICS) including the assessment of the operational risks
  • Participates to the change management within Consolidation by facilitating the handover and trainings to BaU team
  • Be proactive in further increasing operational excellence

 

Required experience & competencies

 

Experience:

  • You have at least 5-7 years work experience in Consolidation, Reporting or Project
  • Experience of SAP environments (S4, BFC)
  • Deep experience in MS Office pack

Required Education

 

A higher education diploma (equivalent to Bac+5) with accounting specialization (DSCG, business school…).
