Within SCOR P&C Business Unit, Business Transformation is responsible for driving key operational aspects of the P&C business, including Digital & Data Strategies, Business Process transformation, Projects, Resource & Budget Management.  

In this newly created team in 2020, The business analyst will actively participate to the development of the

activities of this department




Key duties and responsibilities


Within the Business Transformation team of Global P&C division, the Business Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the operational effectiveness of core reinsurance SCOR systems and associated business operations.  He/she will have the following areas of responsibilities:


Project Management and Business analysis:

Understand and formalize business requirements on DMS (Document Management System) and Omega (Core Reinsurance back-office system)

Participate in the design of new features

Execute User Acceptance Testing (enhancements, bugs, and regressions)

Plan and monitor regression testing performed by others 

Promote change management (Release Note, User presentation / demonstration …) and Agile mindsets

Support end-users located in SCOR offices across the globe:

Ensure level 1 of support by taking charge of user requests (minor issues, information request)

Elaborate & provide functional documentation (User guide, Guidelines …)

Review & validate sensitive access rights requests


Coordinate our Data Quality framework:

Lead the control activities related to Solvency 2 Data Quality aspects (Prepare and coordinate data quality assessment campaigns with Data Quality Engineers)

Prepare the evaluation reports of the Data Quality controls



Contribute to SCOR operational excellence

Contribution to various topic related to our business operations (Business continuity plan, Sanctions & embargos, etc.)


This apprenticeship will provide multiple opportunities to learn project management and business operations skillsets and in a truly international environment.


Required experience and skills


  • Project Management - IT literate with functional experience of solution testing and project work
  • Team Player – openminded, contributing efficiently to teamwork, listening, and proposing ideas
  • Problem Solving - identifies and analyses issues, proposes, and rolls out relevant solutions after appropriate approvals
  • Sense of service - good understanding and listening skill to provide support and assistance to end-user
  • Communication - knows how and when to develop/sustain a message and/or an idea (speaking and writing), uses the right tools to present information
  • Accountability - alerts, raises the critical points when needed, shoulders and corrects his/her decisions
  • Reliability - checks his/her work, challenges the solution before submitting it on time and identifies/corrects the mistakes if needed
