Job Summary

This position has primary responsibility of facilitating and supporting the Americas HUB Human Resources Department including training and development, marketing and communications, internship program/college recruitment and special projects (Docufree).  This position is expected to play an active role in helping to formulate methods to improve processes and practices.


Key duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Support the HR team in special projects
  • Assist with the planning and marketing of DiSCORvery – specifically the panels (this could be a great opportunity to pull him/her into discussions with senior leadership)
  • LinkedIn Learning – help with surveys that we may send out
  • Support the College recruitment efforts including but not limited to:
    • Coordinating job fair and on-site presentations
    • Acts as point of contact for University / Job postings for college career pages
    • Coordinate posts and manage content for the College’s main social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the College’s website).
    • Manage student follow up and email communication
  • Assist with the current internship program
    • Assist with regional event coordination
  • Supports and enhances internal and external communication initiatives to improve how the Company connects, communicates, and increases employee engagement by utilizing both traditional and digital communication marketing efforts; including, but not limited to, upcoming events, campaigns, and the department newsletter.
  • Organizes coordination for learning and development and human resources events from initial marketing to implementation, including but not limited to, scheduling rooms, set up, food orders, invitations, preparation of agendas and meeting materials.
  • Support training and development with reporting and data entry needs.
  • Support, participate in, or lead smaller components of projects. Carry out tasks and activities that support project plans and deliverables.
  • Work as a key team member within the HR department to identify areas for improvement, document and communicate suggestions to the Team, and implement approved improvements.
  • Supports and participates in company sponsored initiatives such as SIGN, Corporate Social Responsibility, and SEAC.
  • Responsible for creating a work environment that maintains confidentiality


Required experience & education

  • 0-3 years administrative assistant / human resources or equivalent office experience demonstrating knowledge of generally accepted office practices & procedures
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Possesses strong communication and relationship building skill, and successful track record in aligning with customers (internal and external)
  • Flexibility and strong commercial/business acumen
  • Clear, precise and persuasive communicator with expertise in analysis, problem-solving and goal achievement.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to effectively work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment with limited supervision.
  • Ability to maintain strong attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to be self-directed, lead meetings and gather resources.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to produce professionally written reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Rising junor or 1st year masters degree student.
